Motorbike Riding Robbers

I was in the office when Mama sent me a message that says “ Nak, hayop na mga holdaper talagang mga yan, kakanood ko lang sa balita may nasaksak nanaman dito satin.”. I was shocked of course, pangalawang beses nang may namatay na babae dahil sa mga lintek na mga yan! Then I received another message from Mama saying “Nak, taga-PLM pala yung nasaksak eh, 5th year medicine student. Musngi ang surname”. Goosebumps rolled all over my body because I know two sisters named Charmagne and Roxanne Musngi. They were our (my and my sister) schoolmates in ICAM and in PLM as well. So I searched for the news in the internet and to my surprise, it was Rox who was killed by the evil motorbike riding men!!!

SHOCKED. But felt very fortunate..

Because I can still remember what happened last May 8, 2009. We celebrated one of my closest girlfriends’ birthday just a few streets away from our house. I had with me my laptop, digicam, two cellphones and my savings for Mother’s day. Cris fetched me. When we were walking along Pampanga street, two guys riding a motorbike took my bag and with full speed they went away with my bag which has EVERYTHING…as in EVERYTHING!!! I thought I’d die that moment. But my mom was still very thankful for we weren’t hurt.

As what I’ve said above, I was shocked but at the same time I felt very lucky because the same thing happened to me and yet I’m still here, composing this blog. This is such a cliché but it’s so true. Thank God talaga!

Wala lang, naalala ko lang. Very traumatic yun sakin, nawala ang lahat sa akin but I guess mas importante parin ang buhay ko. Lalung-lalo na sa nanay ko. Whew!

May Roxanne’s soul rest in peace. (+)

All About the Brown Goddess

Hi guys, as you can see I just restarted my blog spot and I think it's a bit harder to do it all over again. So I'm thinking, I can just put different twists and spices to my blogs.

Before anything else, let me introduce myself first and give you a glimpse of who the blogger is. My name is Janice Moran, commonly known as Kring. I have been working as a fraud analyst (which means I deal with liars every day, so never try fooling me). LOL. I am a Mass Communication graduate in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) last 2009.

I used to go out every weekend with my girlfriends and stay up all night talking about a lot of stuff. I was a very mean girl. I was never thrifty. I spent bigger amount on things I really didn’t need. To make all these descriptions short, I was a big turn-off to guys. I was never the typical chic, boys would fall for.

Well, those were the days! P-A-S-T. Those are just some of the things that make me realize each day that I have changed a lot. As in, A LOT! Of course, I wouldn’t make all those changes without any reason at all. Maybe because I’m getting older, or I just reflected on the time I’ve spent doing nothing, or it’s just because I have someone who eventually learned how to handle a person like me, whom I’m so thankful for now.

Hmm, yah. Having a boyfriend like mine makes life worthwhile. I guess this is just what they call a sneak peak of who I “was”.. haha. (sorry I can’t seem to organize my thoughts at the moment, my bad!) I still have a lot of stories to share. So watch out for the rest. J
